Nottingham folk-pop six-piece formed in March 2011 to create full band versions of songs from the sea-gazing concept album written by frontman Alex Hale in February. Since then they have played shows across the UK with artists including Darren Hayman, the Wave Pictures and Standard Fare. New songs are moving away from landlocked sea shanties to more universal themes.
